Michaela joined the Carbonzero team in 2022 and currently serves as Lead GHG Analyst. With over three years of experience on the Advisory Services team, she supports a range of client projects including Corporate GHG Inventories, GHG Inventory Confirmations, GHG Measurement Tools, and Green Events Services. Michaela also guides clients through sustainability disclosure frameworks such as the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and CDP.

She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Master’s in Environment and Sustainability (MES) from Western University. Michaela is a certified practitioner through the Canadian Standards Association for ISO 14064-1 and has completed specialized training with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, including the Corporate Standard and Scope 3 Standard.

Outside of her work at Carbonzero, Michaela coaches a competitive youth dance team and enjoys spending time in nature. She also spent three summers tree planting in remote regions of Northern Canada, planting over 350,000 trees.
