Dan Fraleigh is an entrepreneur, Environmental Professional (EP), carbon markets expert and strategic advisor with more than 30 years of experience spanning environment, technology, business, media and entertainment. Since 1995, he has worked across business leadership, strategy, consulting, development and design, with particular expertise in environmental markets, carbon finance and greenhouse gas management.

For more than 18 years, Dan helped build, grow and lead Carbonzero, serving as Chief Executive Officer and President and playing a central role in the company’s evolution into a Canadian leader in corporate carbon reduction strategies, greenhouse gas management and carbon markets. His leadership combined environmental-market expertise with business development, operational strategy and a long-term commitment to practical climate solutions.

Following Carbonzero’s acquisition by Gitxaała Enterprises Corporation in 2026, Dan stepped away from the company’s day-to-day leadership while continuing to support Carbonzero in an advisory capacity. He remains active in climate and carbon markets, while also pursuing broader entrepreneurial, creative and community-focused work.

Throughout his career, Dan has served as an advisor and board member to a number of environmentally focused, arts, technology-based and socially minded organizations.
