Curtis Lee joined Carbonzero in 2021 as an Analyst on the Advisory Services team. His role involves regularly conducting corporate greenhouse gas inventories for small and medium sized enterprises, particularly with a focus on greenhouse gas measurement and reduction projects.

Curtis uses his greenhouse gas quantification experience to develop and maintain custom greenhouse gas measurement tools for Carbonzero’s corporate clients, assess value chain emissions, as well as to assess environmental impacts from land degradation and extractive industries. Prior to his work with Carbonzero, and throughout his studies, Curtis worked in the skilled trades as a carpenter – working on various projects from new developments to renovations and retrofits.

Curtis completed his postgraduate studies in Sustainable Business Management at Seneca College following his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Western University. Outside of the office, Curtis is continually exploring new ways to apply his multidisciplinary background to expand his passion for sustainable development and global decarbonization.

Curtis is a certificate holder from the Canadian Standards Association having received training on ISO 14064-1: Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals. He has also completed training with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, specifically the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard as well as the Scope 3 Standard.
