I believe it's almost always a good idea to attach compensation to performance if you really want results.

This is something that is well highlighted through the Carbon Disclosure Project reporting process. However, it would be great to see more of the reporting organizations disclose hard metrics (% of bonuses tied to sustainability, actual $ amounts, etc.) instead of more basic "yes/no" and "who" type questions.

How much exec-level compensation do you think should be tied to sustainability & climate change-related targets? Should all execs have some level of compensation tied to sustainability? How much variation should there be between the Sustainability Officer's and the CFO's, COO's climate sustainability & change-related compensation?
